i was at the de young on sat. and we found a razor in the bushes that we were riding down a hill on, my friend offered some ladies a free ride on it and her response was "is he offering free mustache rides?" i had never heard the phrase before... my friend said that he saw it on tshirts @ coney island in the early 80's... i felt uncultured... we slept in benicia? i think thats close to where you post from... got home... first time i look to see if you put up anything... can't get away from some phrases once they come into your life... no pun intended.
