In this demo, buttons fade up to full brightness when pressed, and fade back down when pressed a second time. The button in the upper-left corner flickers on and off, because the LED isn't soldered in yet, and the contacts are wonky.

The video quality is poor due to a combination of my crummy camera and my crummy skills at using it. The buttons aren't quite as bright as they seem in the video, and they look much redder in reality. Any flickering you might see is definitely not noticeable in person.
