Made with Processing. Audio by Flashbulb ("In an Instant" from the album "Red Extensions Of Me")

This is a time-based documentation of how the Magnetic Ink prints are created. The orbital vector is quite noticeable in this video.

Thats awesome, consider rendering it in high def and submitting it. You know, we viewers are giving more attention to HD, sometimes there are videos that are't as good as yours but still we like to watch it because of the quality.

This is beautiful, Robert. The way the black and white is simultaneously flat and spatial works really well.

Nice... I'd really want to see this with something more "Flashbulbish", could be very interesting ;)

I tend to like the slower more meditative Flashbulb songs more than the frantic rapid fire beats Flashbulb. I must be getting old.

Dude, that is some really amazing stuff. I checked out your site and read as much about this as I could understand and I gotta say it's amazing. Nice work. Are you a musician, a visual artist or a coder? I would think maybe all three, but some of the stuff on your site suggests you may be more in the visual arena and code arena than musical. If so, more mind blowing. Good stuff.
  • flight404 plus 2 years ago
Yeah, more visual and code. Not as musical as Id like to be. Glad you like!

Love the effect, very nice tone and contrast.

To me, the simple constant rotation of the scene becomes routine and hard to follow after a few seconds. What would it take to have the tracking vary over the course of the program?
