MAS President Kent Barwick offers a brief history of the Moynihan Station project and explains how principles for the development of a great new Penn Station would put the public interest first, would ensure an efficient transportation portal and a great new work of contemporary civic architecture; would protect the character of the historic Farley Post Office; and make the station the fulcrum of a great new Moynihan Station district.

...Wow, is all i have to say. I had never ever thought a change like this would happen or would go into somebody's mind of happening but it is finally here. This would be a great change for NYC, it would make everything more organized "Locate properties where they are supposed to be" and become a great initiative for the civilians of the great New York City. Not only did I get informed about what might potentially happen but I also gained a bit of history, like i never knew the Original Penn Station was built where Madison Square Garden is and had been demolished...you imagine how weird that would look now without a Square Garden lol. Well, All i have to say Change is really tentative on being good or bad but i believe for the busy NYC this change wouldnt be so bad after all...as long as there are no Hikes in tax or what not lol. :)
