Megan Jo Wilson's other tune was this one "After All"
This track is one that is a solid cut of hers. vimeo.com/619469 was uploaded just before this one & is from the same appearance

This is also one of the tracks on her My Space page & has somewhat more of a fleshed out feel to it.

Well i know she'll see your comment and appreciate it, she's a trooper to come in @ 9:45 in the a.m. with her tad of Bronchitis when she has a full gig that night. I love her vocalizing & lyric and wish I'd had it together to get a bit of sound reinforcement (as I usually do) on the guitar.
Here's to getting through with the bronchial snafus.

Eat raw garlic Megan! It will kill anything living in your throat. Avoid intimate relations for 24 hours.

Cool vid. That mic is brilliant.

    I enjoyed her sound.
  • CTD3 5 months ago
Thank you Ian. That mic is like an industry standard for quite a few radio stations ; It has great *presence* and is considered reliable, no time code here dude (yet).
  • Ian Lucero 5 months ago
    "no time code here... "

did you mean your camera/sound/production lacked timecode in order to sync the stations recording and your cameras image?

    psh!
  • Ian Lucero 5 months ago
there's a missing part to that reply above.

Time code shmime code. I just use my ears and what I see. It is far more efficient and easier than worrying that some numbers are telling me that I'm "right".

It was "tongue in cheek" As you likely know songs or deliberate strums plucks or whatever can be marked to drag the better sound take to it's location and that's what
I do now eye and ear and trial & error ( iMovie is kind of coarse in that regard , I have found if I make my transitions then extract the sound from the "primary"
video I can have an easier time of "matching" my place.
It is very tough on strummy instrumentals.

A good friend is doing alot of sound for film and TV and he showed me his amazing set of remote wireless and boom schepps mic , deadcat and all and time code on all four tracks he gathers,, crazy we are hoping to do a project sometime this new year.
I do like the low fi mode though, less of a head ache .
