Very cool. I love the score/editing... also the Titles/fonts are done very well -- which is rare in shorts I see.

Is that red bleed on the side intentional or accident? I only ask because it seems to run over several shots at once.

But yeah, great job. Look forward to more from you.

Isiah nice job on HOLDING HANDS. The Type and fonts were great. But I take my hats off to the two actors in it. As well as the cinematography. Nice going again..

Truly a nice piece. I agree with others in that the score was well placed. Some scene shifts seemed a little bit rough - but overall excellent. I especially enjoyed the the stronger quick cuts during the "memories" sequence (when the male was actor was playing guitar). It truly added some good emotion.

Also - very good job by the actors.

Overall this short is a perfect example of great independent film making/producing and the reason why short films should have a solid place in our entertaining lives.

Excellent film isiah...I love the quick cuts and the way you play with memory by showing us what we've already seen earlier in the film, in quick succession at the very end of the film, thereby playing with our memory...

Your editing captures something of how memory does seem to work...

    Beautifully done...

p.s. sometimes it's good when people don't talk. Or when they talk privately. The characters feel more real by the fact we're not allowed to here their voices. Truly private.

Hey everyone.... So my friend has been seeing 2 girls. Now he wants to dump one but can't decide which one. So we made a video and are letting viewers decide. We are using zoomabet to keep track of the results zoomabet.com/bets/group333.html

really good, i like how you took out the dialouge and replaced it with the score. it tells us that you dont need words to tell a story, but just by the expressions and emotions that the actor is portraying tells it for us. The music is wonderful. do you school at SF? keep it up.
  • isiah flores 6 months ago
thanks !! i went to school at the Academy of Art University in SF ..
