But yes, I actually USE the phonetic alphabet (a military/aviation one, like for real) at work, and it drives me crazy when people use weird words.

you need to do more, i love these. Particularly because one day I was so guilty of your rant, i was really mad at an IT person on the phone and began spelling my entire name with ridiculous words because I kept having to repeat it. It's not a hard name. V as in vasectomy, A as in Aerodynamics..lol
