Pinellas Park beats Lakewood, wins PCAC
Pinellas Park rallied in the second half to beat Lakewood 53-44 and win its first Pinellas County Athletic Conference title. Trailing 36-34 in the closing seconds of the third quarter, the Patriots Cam Carden buried a 25-foot, 3-pointer at the buzzer. It was the momentum Pinellas Park needed. The Patriots outscored the Spartans 19-8 in the fourth. Cam Carden (21 points), Jake Troyli (15) and Jesse Woods (12) each reached double digits in scoring. Lakewood was led by Mike Morrison, who scored 12.
