Flight back from Vancouver to Seattle via Horizon Airlines (Alaskan Airlines) turboprop plane.
A bit unnerving at first, but easily accustomed to the noise.
Of interest are the variable pitch prop blades according to thrust needs (something not visible in this video but upon takeoff, etc.).

garrettmurray 5 months agoIt's awesome how the frame rate of the camera causes the props to look like they're spinning very slowly. I agree that I would be unnerved too! -
Dave Kellam 5 months agoFlew on a prop plane recently for a connection between Ottawa and Montreal. I was in the emergency exit seat, which happened to be beside the propellor, makes a lot of sense. -
