    what software/ process do you use?

    Using maya I attached pCubes to particles, booleaned them all together and then smoothed the result. It got pretty heavy though and it crashed after 500 frames.

    I was trying to figure out a system that would behave a bit like metaBalls. If there are any suggestions I'd love to here them...
