Just testing out my mic and boom usage..
The Dialog was not pre-planned, so please do not pay attention to that...

Shot with HV20 at 24p. Pulldown done with Compressor.
Mic is Rode Videomic, with Dead Cat, and on a $14 Boom Pole.

How did you get the videomic on a boom?...just curious. I want to get one and that's the only thing I'm not sure about. Thanks!

I just followed the directions in this link, but you don't need the thread adapter if you're using the VideoMic, the thread in the mount is 3/8" so you just need the hanger bolt.

This is great, Mat. Sounds great, too.

I am really, really curious though--do you use an XLR ADAPTER with your HV20? For the Videomic boomage?

Or did you achieve such clear sound with a normal 1/8 mic extension cord? I don't hear any hum at all.
