Hooray! Let's make our "thin democracy" a little thicker and more muscular on the nutrition of REAL citizen selection of our leaders. Clean elections are within our reach.

Newt Gingrich and Trent Lott, when they were Speaker of the House and Senate Majority Leader, tried to slip in a $50 Billion, that is BILLION and not million, tax credit for the tobacco industry. It nearly succeeded but was noticed but no one knew who had done this. Eventually the authors were identified and that clause was taken out of the bill. It was a clever way to make a political payoff because the cost would be invisible; it would only show as a lower tax on corporate returns without any information as to why. Details of this nefarious act can be Googled for more information.

"Just $6 Dollars" is so much cheaper and so much more effective: it will also help to return power to the people.

    Go for it!
