Whoever thought it would be a good idea to put self-checkout lines at Ikea, should be fired.
The employees have enough trouble finding the barcodes, and the moms trying to scan 100 tea lights do not belong in that line.
Bad move Ikea. bad move.

I hate those self check outs. Not only are they a real pain in the ass but look at all the lost jobs.

I like them for some stuff, but some people, especially at Walmart, think it's ok to bring an entire cart-full of items to them, and then it takes them 5 times the amount of time it would take a skilled cashier to do it.

I like them, but only because since I was 17 I've been a cashier and know how to use them. I completely understand why other people hate them though.

I don't mind them for the most part, but some people don't understand them, and especially at Ikea, they just don't work.

I love it, I always use it.
When there are the people that don't know how to use it, there are always two employees around there seeing if people are having problems to help them, at least in the Ikea here.

Yeah, there are people there to help, but some places just shouldn't have them. Ha.

Totally Agree! I'm glad they don't have them on this side of the Atlantic!
