I took the HV20 to work with me this past week and had an opportunity to get some shots on an empty leg.

Actually in this video most of the shots were taken by the other pilot since I was flying and the sunrise was on his side of the airplane.

Shot in 24p. Edited with Vegas 8

Wow, beautiful sunrise and cool that you can fly. For years I've been wanting to learn but never really got off my butt to do it.

Yeah, I can't complain. My work office usually has a great view :). It's never too late to start Wynner. Check out your local flight school.

    Thanks for the comment.

That was really great. Any plans for some more flying vids?
  • Jamie Martin 7 months ago
    Thanks Ben.

Hopefully. Since that is what I do for a living I sure more oppourtunities for catching some great footage will present itself. The trick is being able to catch them as flying the airplane takes precidence over filming. :)

    Hey Jamie!
Mate! Get it right, Nothing takes precedence over filming!! Planes fly themselves anyway don't they?? :)))))
Love your videos, Great stuff mate!

Cool glass cockpit, what kind of bird are you flying?
  • Jamie Martin 6 months ago
It's a Cessna Citation CJ3. It has one of the most advanced avionics systms currently available, which makes it both fun and safe to work with.

what did you use to remove 24p pulldown?
  • Jamie Martin 6 months ago
Cineform's NeoHDV. It removes it during the capture process from the tape to the computer.

Great video! Wow, landing takes on a whole new meaning when seen from that POV! I'll stick with looking out the side. :) Love the title animation, too.
