I think the Sgpro is the best relatively cheap adapter i have seen. Which version is it though?

I had the opportunity to A/B it with a RedRock M2 before I bought it - the only thing I was worried about was the time it would take to get here (shipping from England, I live in TX). It shipped 3 days after I ordered it - and arrived 3 days after it left. I was amazed.

Does the SGPRO help with the weight and balance of the HV20?

I have a SGPRO, fantastic bit of kit.

Once you have added it onto the camera it becomes rather heavy towards the front.

indeed. I usually keep mine on a tripod - however - i hope to have a shoulder mount unit ready soon
