This message is the first in a new 8 week series "Life's Healing Choices" done in conjunction with Saddleback Church and the Purpose Driven Connection. In this series we will focus on the eight life choices illustrated in the eight beatitudes of Jesus from Matthew 5:1-12 that will assist you in dealing with life's hurts, habits and hang-ups. This first message looks at the beatitude "Blessed are the poor in spirit" and calls us to make the reality choice - to admit that truth that we can't help ourselves and need God's help.
