The only live performance from a series of improvisations I call "Piano Drone". A custom patch created in max/msp is used to manipulate the sound of an acoustic piano which is sampled live. To make sure the audience would only hear the processed sound and not the dry piano, the entire setup was placed backstage and a live audio/video feed was projected into the performance hall.
