This is from a series of studies I've been doing in minimal movement and gestures. A jitter patch was timed to take a picture of a ceiling fan at the same spot in its rotation every cycle. Theoretically the object should have appeared frozen in place, but due to the speed of my computer at the time and variations in speed of rotation, a much more glitchy video resulted when the frames were reanimated.

This particular video was heavily influenced by the work of Keith Fullerton Whitman.

The music is an original piece titled "5 cent worry".

    I've been working on making some jitter patches to try my hand at some ambient style vjing. I haven't tried using these video clips as source material yet though. Any specific ideas? Also, I like your tree branch video :)
