On Valentine's Day 2003, I presented my wife with a DVD. We did not have a videographer shoot our wedding, so we had no wedding video. I thought making a DVD from the photos from the ceremoney might be a nice Valentine's Day gift. I was right. :)

But as I watched the DVD with family members who were at the house, it hit me that the Ken Burns effect used in the DVD could be used to better present homes online. No one was using this technique at the time. So, RealEstateShows.com was born.
