Thanks. Seems 2500 kb/sec already causes stuttering for most broadband connections. Wouldn't a higher bit rate cause more streaming issues? Except if you would download it of course...

I am talking about your downloading video that it's low quality. Vimeo re-compresses HD always at 1.6 mbps, and you can't change that. But your original file, not Vimeo's, is already low quality. But because it's Vimeo's version we stream, it won't matter, but Vimeo will re-encode from a better source video, and when you do that, it ends up being good too, even if it's only 1.6mbps. I hope I am making some sense. :)

Ah I didn't know that. Vimeo's tutorial says best is 3-4mpbs. but next video I'll try 4 pass with 5 mpbs. I have some nice shots of pacifict grove and big sur when it was sunny.

It was actually a very early september morning. Rest of the day turned out pretty nice. I'll post later some sunsets at the same spot.

No all was shot in 60i. Personally 24p isn't for me. Movement is always jerky unless you pan very, very slowly and evenly (which is impossible handheld). The only potential advantage is low-light but the difference is very small.
