Pillow Fight Club - San Francisco 2008
This is my lame attempt at cobbling together some shaky, blurry footage I shot at the Justin Herman Plaza (i.e., EMB for you skaters out there) February 14, 2008 San Francisco Pillow Fight Club.
For those of you who give a shit, the first half is footage of the milling around everyone did up until the 6pm start time, and the second half is the pillow fight itself. . . or at least the first hour of the pillow fight 'cuz I ran out of tape at about 7pm-ish.
oh, and btw, i just watched it and that stuttering bit at the beginning of part 2 normally looks kind of cool - i think the vimeo encoding kind of lame-i-fied it. . .

one thing i learned last year, however, is that asking someone to pillow hit your camera on the lens on purpose isn't a good idea 'cuz it can tweak the tape loading mechanism. . .
the camera is the canon hv20. . . decent camera but it seems to have a tendency to drop frames. . . no biggie for, say, a chaotic pillow fight, but in general i think a flash-memory or hard drive camera might be better. . .
