Hey very cool video that was one scary ride. WoW!! how do you keep it on track? I don't think I could walk in that stuff. I see you digging out that was one great video. I am getting cold just watching it. Hey thanks for sharing the cool video.

Thanks! I am glad you liked it. The cam on my boom froze up when we were digging out;I missed the best shots of the sidecar scooping snow off the road and throwing it into Laurie's face!

Well it was a really great video you covered a lot of the action. I just bought a new Canon HG-10 Camcorder and am getting into taking small movies. I had never seen anyone drive a cycle even with a sidecar into that deep of snow. Did you have a GPS to tell you just where you were in case you needed help?

Sidecars go pretty good in rough stuff, even deep snow. You just need to shift your weight to get traction where you need it, forward over the front wheel to steer or stop, aft over the rear wheel to climb grades or get started. It helps if you have an agile monkey(passenger).

My GPS is so old as to be nearly useless, it doesn't have a mapping feature. i should get a new one, but I spent all my whip out on new camera gear ;-) That ride was never more than 5 miles from my home, and I ride out there a lot, so geting lost wasn't an issue. I carry good forest service and county maps as well as tools, a first aid kit and survival gear when ever I go out, just in case.

Tell me how you like the Oregon Scientific AT18 ATC2K Waterproof Action Camera. That baby really caught my old eyes. It looks like it can take some rough treatment and the weather also. I found their Web site but would like reading what you think.

The video quality is poor and the sound quality is worse. It has no veiwfinder or review screen so it is easy to get an hour of dirt or sky. But it is cheap, rugged and waterproof. I like to use it with footage from a better camera and a different point of view, but on it's own it is a little lame. I am liking it better since i found vimeo-the same clips on youtube can be so degraded as to be unwatchable but are acceptable when seen here

OK, you are right, the Quality is not the best but I love this Video! can you use the Sidewagon as a "Slight"?
luckily we rarely have Snow in Beijing.

I am not sure what you mean by a "slight"

I took a look at your videos-fun stuff! Thanks for sharing them! My brother was in Hong Kong for years and we got a chance to see some of southern China when we visited him, but I didn't get to play on sidecars while we were there.
