Grandma Fran, RN, removed Emma's stitches one week after she fell and cut her eye brow, thereby avoiding a possibly traumatic return to the hospital for the procedure.
Fran has experience and made the process quick and painless. Handing Emma the stitches was a great distraction.
This all began with Emma saying repeated, "I'm not ready yet." But it was over in a minute.
