yes, you're right it is. Had a lump in my throat when they talked about letterpress one day disappearing. Great though, that there are those keeping it alive--and with such passion.

Wonderfully poignant .. I think that the filmmaker, Chuck Kraemer, deserves a big hug.

This is awesome! I agree this film is a great documentation of why we need to hold on to crafts like this process.

'poignant'--that's the word I was searching for. Indeed it is.

My uncle in the Philippines had a two letterpresses... amazing... Seeing the motion and rhythm of the pressman and the machine is almost hypnotizing.

We shouldn't let this be a dying art form

    Dude, that's one cool video!
Nicely photographed and shown real DEPTH in the printing results.

Wow, this piece of documentary is excellent !
The printer and his philosophy is BRILLIANT.
    What a humble dude.
Sure hope someone will carry on with this ART.
That's what it is... and art.

Lynotype machine is another invention that simply amazing, considering when it was introduced. A mechanical 'robot' without software :)
Oh yeah... the people were the software.
    heh

Facinating stories and I hope you keep making more of them... since you're an ARTIST as well.
