Decided to try to shoot a short video using the Canon 5D MarkII, came up with a concept, and the time line went pretty much like this:
1:00PM ~ Turn on Canon 5D MarkII.
1:01PM ~ Realize we have no idea how to actually record video.
1:01PM - 3:30PM ~ Playing with custom functions and reading online to figure out manual camera control.
3:30PM - 4:00PM ~ Decide we are hungry, go grab some burritos, eat burritos.
4:00PM - 8:00PM ~ Shoot.
8:00PM - 10:00PM ~ Eat delicious taco soup produced in video and get distracted by CSI.
10:00PM - 1:30AM ~ Choose music, edit, polish, render using Final Cut.
2:00AM ~ Post to video internets
All in all very impressed with the capabilities of the 5D, and shooting was a blast.

11:33 decides current post made me hungry, quick trip to the kitchen for sub par banana bread.
11:34 watched the first 18 seconds which took 4 min to load, wonders if Columbus has something to do with this. Decides video seems worth watching.
