is it easy for you to try changing the width of the 'paper' inside the box (i know you used plastic) so that it is less curved, increasing the 'focussed' area horizontally?

I made mine and I feel in awe of how the plastic and HD makes yours looks. I took a few stills with mine as well and it turned out alright but not as clear as this.
I have found Magic bullets effects are easier post. it just takes some pre planning to frame shots. BUT it isn't the same experience as getting it all at once and seeing the almost instant result of that beautiful warm fuzziness

this whole shoebox video has a very unique feel and vibe to it. dreamy somewhat :]
