With its mother off foraging, a white-tailed deer fawn walks on wobbly legs along the top of a road bank, ignoring the photographer standing in the middle of the road. But when a car comes up, instinct kicks in and it hides immediately. Blogged here: vianegativa.us/2007/06/01/shooting-bambi/

    The fawn's wobbly gate and instinct to hide from passing cars is strangely reminiscent of the behavior I've seen teenagers exhibit at keg parties on the Janesville Pike. :-)

    Good point. Of course, I'd like to think our Central Pennsylvania youth are a bit sharper than newborn fawns, but, um, actually it might be a close contest.
