I posed a simple question to my fellow classmates.
I promise I didn't make them do it. [lies, the truth is they didnt even know why they were saying "hectic"... at the time, not even I knew why they were saying hectic]
My faves are Alice, Kate, Phil and Lia

    as according to dictionary.com:
    Characterized by intense activity
    but thats just dull
when you think of me, what do you think? that is the definition of hectic

Ok ok ok ok. I understand but I still wouldn't use the word for describing any other person but you. I would use it for a "hectic day" or:
    "How was school?"
    "Ahhhhh HECTIC!"

Like that. Anyway, you deserve the word. Tina, you're hectic.

HAHAHA!!! Tin, thanks so much for expanding on this. BUT I still don't understand how you can describe a person as 'hectic'.

haha I LOVE Phil's part and "JUST SAY HECTIIIC!!!!!". Ohhhh Tina.

I've always used the word "hectic" to describe crazy, off-the-wall situations with more activity than I can deal with. So I think it's a perfect word to describe a person. And Tina... you are fully hectic.

oook then Tina are are fully hectic

Cait is correct--in common usage one's day is hectic or a situation is hectic. A person having a hectic day is frantic.

But Tina's dictionary is no good... "characterised by INTENSE activity" loses sight of the origin of the modern usage of the word. It's from "hectic fever" (tuberculosis). Thus the proper definition is "characterised by FEVERISH activity", which is the second best description of Tina. What's first best? Manic Whacko!
