I beta tested the Letus Extreme 35mm adapter before its release. Here is one of the tests I did using 3x250w Lowel ProLites and a 1k Spiderlite softbox as a key (you can see that light reflected in the vase and there are also hotspots throughout this piece...BAD STEVEN!!) :)

My daughter is my lovely assistant and it was shot on a Canon XHA1 (with the Letus, obviously).

It's amazing how many lights it takes to make a scene look like it wasn't lit.

You know how to frame a good shot. You're right about the hot spots, but it is still wonderfully filmed.

Very marvellous, without doubt worth the long loading time which HD entails. The music makes it seem a bit too much like a TV ad for a water-filtering kettle, but that's just me being picky.

Hi Steven... Which light meter are you using and what setting is it set at?? Also are you doing any color correction?

Dude, when I grow up I want to make videos that look and feel like your videos. Okay?

Very House...I see it zooming out and the little girl gasping for air just as they've screamed cut. Then Steven runs in and in true House style he has a seizure. Not that I'm wishing bad on you steven or your daughter, just complimenting the professional look and feel. Nice one.
How much would u value the whole package it took to do this?

I appreciate your comment about how much lighting it takes make a scene look "natural." I shoot a lot of video of our twin granddaughters and seldom have the right lighting to make them look as good as Tara does in this clip.

I especially liked the way you used a portion of the out-of-focus green lamp base to frame up her face. You have a very special eye for such details. I learn from you on every video.

    Thanks.

Another stunning piece Steven. Dude, I just love your stuff. i know that for you its just a simple lighting test but even so, there's something about your cuts and frames that is so seamless and professional. The people here who comment notice it because it's what we're interested in and what we're looking at, but sometimes, it's hard to keep watching for the technical bits because we get drawn into your films. Which is the sign of great technique!!!
    Bless

    Avey
