Mini 35mm DOF Adapter Test (Canon HV20 24P HDV)
This 35mm adapter I made about 5 years ago for my first minidv camera. It is a static adapter with no moving parts made from a blank focusing screen and a Hanimar f1.7 lens. A light amount of dust is on the glass.

Christopher Prouse 5 months agolooks really nice!... just out of curiosity, would you be able to shoot a really quick test clip with the same adapter, but at a regular 30 frames per second? I was planning on buying a similar Canon camcorder, but found out Final Cut Express (which I have) doesn't support 24p, and I'd need to upgrade to Pro to do so. So I'm curious to see how a 35mm adapter would look with a regular framerate of 30. Thanks if you can! -
Jordan 5 months agoThe video I made 'wind mini35mm adapter' was shot 60i then deinterlaced to 30p. This is probably what you are interested in, vimeo.com/734451. -
