As I understand it Nick is pointing to an imaginary advert on the Vimeo page that he would get paid to endorse. Sorry to disect the joke Nick! I think you're on to something though, I'm well up for doing my bit for Herbalife.

its really weird that you did this vid, because on my way home i saw a bus ad that said "mesothelioma" on it, and i was saying it over and over in my head trying to figure it out. weirdddd that i came home and immediately saw your clip.

That's awesome. Not a funny topic, but it's funny to try and say mesothelioma without stuffing it up. It could be like a tongue twister.

"Can you say 'mesothelioma' 4 times fast?"
  • trp0 2 years ago
No, I can't. I tried. Twice. No luck.

It seemed like the more he said it, the closer he was to cracking up.

I made this video clip because mesothelioma is the highest paid word on the entire internet ($55). When you search for it on Google, that's how much the AdWords are going for. And, when you're not logged in as a Vimeo user, you see ads related to your video clip on the right side of the page.

I don't know if you've ever seen those infomercials. Maybe it's just a local thing, but I this clip reminded me of those Mesothelioma commericals with all those people in a dark room confessing about being exposed to asbestos. And how they are here today to tell us about how they went to the law offices of so and so and got compensastion for everything they had to endure. Wow, that was long winded but I was reminded of that bad commerical and it made me laugh.

meso is a real disease, people that end up being diagnosed with it rarely live more then a year. if you can't really help someone with doing anything about it, don't post just to make money thats lame.
