Presented at farbrausch @ breakpoint 2007, fr-041: d e b r i s is a ground-breaking tech demo presenting the viewer with 7 minutes of real-time generated graphics, music and storyline - in a package of 177KB, less than a single web page or word document.

As we approach the days of blu-ray gaming, this demonstrate the demo-scene is still able to produce works that far outperform commercial enterprises both on a technical and artistic level.

Ironically, presenting this demo in a video format as a 6.5mpbs H.264 file takes more than two thousand time the amount of space the demo weights itself.

I know this absolutely looks (and sounds) awesome compared to what it would have looked like YouTube, but I spent hours making sure it was rendered, captured and compressed perfectly so ... there's always the download link at the bottom right :)
