That is so wrong..lol I missed the fact that people even put shoes on their dog. It's not uncommon, I work with people who all dress up their dogs, go to dog birthday parties and events. Sometimes shoes are a good thing. If the shoes are merely for fashion, than that is stupid, but there are times when the ground is cold, or wet and freezing, during which the dog can get hurt. Therefore sometimes we have boots for the dog, but it has nothing to do with dressing the dog up. It's merely for her feet's safety.

don't dogs have rough pads because they have genetically evolved that way to cope with outdoor temperatures and treading on rough ground?
