This is a fantastic video. I love the beauty and grace of talented divers (and am currently working on some documentaries of athletes myself). You did an amazing job!
wow. great artistry. my favorite shots are the shot of the diving board dripping water at the beginning, and the shot at the end of the diving board still bouncing while water splashes in front of it.
There's something really amazing about the relative motion of the divers against the background. I'd like to see another version of this video, but with the orientation and position of all the divers frozen in space. I was going to explain with an example, but Premiere won't let me keyframe rotation... There should be some way to automate it using localized "stabilization" techniques though...
Excellent job man! I have shown ths video to everyone I know. It is incredible. I have been checking out your stuff and your likes recently. You are a man of good taste! No wonder you like mac's work. Ha, ha... Just one degree of separation between us... hope we meet one day. Would love to work with you. Rick (Mr nice guy... in the moment after ;).
thanks Rick! that would be awesome if we could work together someday! i keep trying to get to Spain but Mac is always coming here to the States...oh yeah! great job in 'The Moment After'...it was a really great short...great performances! hope we can meet one day...talk soon...ciao ciao
i loved this...i really enjoyed the divers just spinning in the air. it was quite funny actually, almost as if gravity did not exist and they're twirling throughout space! ahaha :)
Love it

Go into directors, click Joaquin Baca-Asay, and watch the Nike Defy video.
I think you did a terrific job with this one, and it reminds of that commercial.
What fps did you use to shoot this?
