This is totally awesome! You really achieved the "look"

May I ask what did you do to achieve the audio. What audio device do you use?
  • Carlos Lascano 2 years ago
    Hi!
Thanks a lot. I really don´t know the audio equipment we used. But I´m gonna ask and I will tell you.
    Thanks again

Very engaging. I was instantly absorbed by the scenario and the characters...and the film looks great...the tones and choice of shots etc. Great work Carlos.

  • Si me llegó.

Nicely done. See, a lot of people think that the lens adapter will "do it" for them; just give them the film look. But you took everything into consideration to really make this look and feel like a film. The lighting was beautiful, the sound was crisp and cinematic, and the acting and directing were fantastic.

Let us know when this gets greenlit.

Beautiful and moving scene! Very well done.

Was the movie never realised? Is this the only scene that was shot? In that case, it's a shame.

Wow, that was beautiful, so wonderfully shot, scored, and acted. Great lighting! And I love the very subtle camera movement, the sways back and forth really added such a beautiful and easy feel to it, and made the shots seem so much more organic and less stiff. Wonderful acting, great pacing. And the score was just outstanding, it perfectly helped display the mood of the scene similarly to Mihaly Vig's score to Bella Tarr's film Wierkmiester Harmonies. You definitely achieved a wonderful film look and once again beautiful beautiful lighting. How do you like the SGpro adapter compared to the Letis and Redrock?

I've used this same combination V1+ SG + nikon primes. the camera struggled in low light even with F 1.2 and 1.4 lenses . it was generally okay outdoors and in properly lit spaces.

I had the same issue with the slight intrusion of the adaptor into the frame, which i eventually put down to the underscan feature on the camera. which should have been switched off when i shot.

The progressive scan feature on this camera isn't as good as say panasonic cameras, always tends to feel like television. I've used several panasonics with this adaptor and always been really pleased with the results

Fantastic work. Fantastic lighting and direction. May I also enquire what audio equipment was used? I can gather quite a lot of the sound effects are folley added in post, but the dialogue is too natural to be ADR. Would be very interested to know what mixer/pre-amp was used and also what shotgun and lapel mics were used.
