funny. great. did you blue screen the "incident" (don't want to ruin it for anyone else).
  • Kinetiq HD 4 months ago
We used a green screen. We didn't have a ton of time to shoot it, so we just set it up outside during the middle of the day and used the sun for lighting. Then we brought it into After Effects and keyed it all.

Funny video. What camera was used for this?
  • Kinetiq HD 4 months ago
We used an HVX200 with a redrock m2 35mm adapter and a nikon 50mm prime lens. Thanks for watching!

Nice. The handheld walking backwards was the only thing annoying about it. Interesting script, nice effects at the end and fun concept.

What did you think of using the Redrock with nikon primes? I used that setup with the JVC Hd110 and found it to be clunky and awkward on set, but the images were super
  • Kinetiq HD 4 months ago
Yeah, it is definitely clunky. Very front heavy. We use the varizoom handheld rig for most of our work. It gets the job done.

you concepts are always original and hilarious 100%. your style reminds me of the lonely island before they got picked up by SNL and started making all those SNL Digital Shorts that rocked our worlds. Except you got way better prod value.
    Cheers!

this is ridiculous in all the right ways.

and i'm all for hand-held cinematography, but some of the moving shots were a bit off-puting, but still good stuff.
