This is the war scene from our upcoming short film. There is no color correction and the final product will be in high-def, but this is a relatively final picture cut.

Is this the end of the film? I really enjoyed the idea of a composer at war and looking at , and hearing, what his war experience would be.

Did he become injured in this scene? If so then it is not clear how.

The pacing seems a bit slow for the dramatic feel I believe you are going for. If this is the end then some sort of editing demise needs to happen if that is what is happening to the character. slow at first to quicker cuts to show his increasing confusion and chaotic state.
Or perhaps you want a fast pace with the explosions and then slow it down to show us his close up and eventual total disconnection from war when he forces himself into this music escape.

Just some thoughts. I hope to see this color corrected. Looks good so far!

This is one of three scenes in the final film. The finished (color corrected) product will also have ample sound effects to flesh out the scene

not quite sure what I used for my "Trench" magic bullet settings, will need to go back to my edit for it. Do you have Magic Bullet looks? What are you editing on?

I am editing on Premiere Pro CS3 with After Affects available if need be (I have owned every edition of After Effects but I have yet to actually utilize its powers). I use Magic Bullet looks (whatever the latest version happens to be named) for all color correction and film look capabilities.

lmao -- it almost reminds me of William Defoe's charecter in Boondock Saints.

Great production value -- really well done.
