My second version of an RGB monome. The project has been renamed as the "Tinct" project, and this 4x4 version is called the TiniTinct. The forthcoming 8x8 version will be the OcTinct.

It is being controlled by my custom version of monomeSerial, written in Processing, and is running the 64life.ck Chuck shred. My software allows the colour to be selected on the fly by clicking on-screen. The "brain" is an Arduino.

Sorry for the low quality video: the colours are too bright for my camera, so appear washed out; there is no sound; flickering is an artifact; occasionally you can see brief flashes of the "wrong" colour, which is the camera catching the multiplexing. These are not visible to the naked eye.

Nope, it's a single RGB LED in each button. They have 4 leads: 1 anode each for red, green, and blue, and a common cathode.
