Thanks, I took a look at the channel and I like what you have up there Tripp. This was my first recording with the camera and the sun was not in my favor, I had to travel south to Rollinsford just to fund sun! I will grab one of the books from DV magazine so I can hone in my skills, as this is my first return to video in about 12 years. I'm trying to spend a lot of time with this camera so I can produce some quality products like I do with my DSLRs.

I found my videos look better with the wmv format when set to HD. I noticed you have artifacting and that too is what I get from the mp4 files I make. I own a PV-GS320 that records SD only. I then take the 720X480 DV files and do my editing using Pinnacle 11 (and or ) Vegas 8.0 Pro. When I output I upscale it to HD 1280X480 and use 60i or 30p depending on what I am looking for. I find the file size to be close to the mp4 but the quality seams to be better.

I know for a fact your camera is better than mine in everyway possible so I think your QT files have problems like mine do with artifacts that don't belong. I am thinking of buying the Canon HV30 tomorrow before I head out to see my customers. With craptube aka for youtube SD was overkill but know that I have found this site I am ready to step into the true HD world.
