Emily Poindexter performed jazz standards with A Cosmic Connection at the fourth installment of the Lenten Concert Series at St. John's Episcopal Church in Powell, Wyoming, on March 5th.

St. John's is a small but vital congregation of Episcopalians in Northwest Wyoming with a focus on outreach into the community of Powell. 2008 is the sixth year for the the Lenten Concert Series at St. John's. For more information, please visit powellepiscopal.com

With the kind donation of the performers' time and talent, the 2008 Concert Series raised $3500 in free will donations for the Heart Mountain Volunteer Medical Clinic that will begin operation in Powell in May. Thanks to all who came to the concerts to benefit this worthy effort to provide care to the uninsured and under-insured of our area.
