A violent wind storm blew through the area. This time lapse represents a bit more than an hour and shows two layers of clouds traveling at a 45 degree angle to each other along with the winds violently shaking a tree around.

Note: the camera was on a tripod in the house and shot though double glazing - but at least my camera didn't get soaked. The winds were so strong that the camera was being shifted up / down substantially. E.g. the whole house was being flexed / moved!

Additional Note: The slow pan upwards was done via SBG as a test of the pan-scan capability. I have some work to do, obviously, as the pan happens integral numbers of pixels, e.g. chunky, rather than via sub-pixel offsets and using resampling. But its hard to do that without a lot of CPU cycles being spent. I'm trying to find a better way to handle this for future versions.

Sequence shot as 3MP stills ( 2048x1536 ) and run through my SBG tool to deflicker and perform a slow diagonal pan of a 16:9 crop, which SBG resampled to 720p form factor stills. These were assembled into a DivX and uploaded.
