    this was done with jit.slide and quick cuts between pictures?

    hey bryan, it was actually done mostly on the gpu, part of it does use a gpu version of jit.slide. there is also a frame difference part of this and a non additive feedback loop which resamples the image and gives and impression of it moving closer or further away. this was an early version of this, ive since added color channel delays etc..

    that's a good idea. I've used the to_texture method to do full scene processing on the gpu, but never thought about using it to move the image around. Usually the image on my patches drifts to the upper right hand side of the screen a bit if I turn erasing off when doing this...not really sure why. I assume that's part of what you were doing with the "realtime video experiment 2005"?

    also, some of vade's film processing shaders do some interesting things if you put them in a feedback loop...you've probably already played with them though.
