Final Cut Studio slow motion demo
This video shows that it is better to use Compressor to slow footage down that using Final Cut Pro.
Even if your final video is going to be delivered in a progressive form, it is best to shoot interlaced if you are going to slow your footage down.
The clip was definitely not colour corrected.

KCSwanko 2 years agoDoes the slow down work in Compressor 2. When I to rate conversion and pick Best (High Quality) I do not get any settings under that to change duration. I am using H.254 file format? -

Dreamartist Films 1 year agoIf you're going to use a shot for slow mo, shooting it in 60i at a high shutter speed instead of 24p can solve many of those problems. Plus Compressor takes so long! :) -
