This is our first speech with each other in Wenzao. For me, Hope has always been a very earnest student in the speech course. I convinced that she indeed spent a lot of time writing her draft and correcting it. Then the speech of acceptance proved certainly that her efforts is worthy. She looked more prepared and self-confident than before. However, I would like to suggest Hope that if she could have more smile, body language, louder voice and eye contact with the audience, she would perform successfully in the future.

// The feedback to myself //
An old semester passed and a new one comes. Although I am more familiar with my audience--my classmates--, I still can't hide my stage fright. This is really a bad beginning in this new semester. When I standed by on the chais, I told myself "take a deep breath then be calm down". However, as I started my presentation, I forgot all my draft and a blank filled with my brain. Suddenly my eyes kept glancing round my audience to and fro from right to left. I knew that is not eye contact which taught by Aiden. This is my "nervous eye contact". There is no smile on my face and my pronounciation is not clear, too. I thought if I had followed my note then read it at that moment, the whole speech would proceed smoothly. Obviously, I didn't do it but chose another way to present --- adamantly try to recall my draft. Woo, it was really a terrible speech!

My speech of presentation was better than the acceptance speech in volume. I thought that the speed of my speech was the faster the better last semester. But I change my mind this semester. I try to slow down the speed of my speech and make my audiences understand what I talk.
I make efforts in pronunciation this semester. I think that correct pronunciation make my audiences feel comfortable.
I also think that I am better than last semester in eye contact. I think I would forget it without Miss Yeh’s suggestion.
My weakness was lack of smile.
