2. Bellagio Fountains from the 41st floor of the Caesar Palace
4 months ago
"Time To Say Goodbye" by Andrea Bocelli with Sarah Brightman, Bellagio Fountains, Las Vegas.

Recorded from my hotel room at the Caesar Palace from the 41st floor of the Augustus Tower, room 4162 - March 9th @ 17:30pm.

I used a mini tripod on my coffee table, recorded using a mini-DV JVC GR-D93EK, edited and muxed through Premiere Elements, with the resulting DV avi PAL compressed to MP4 H264 4.1 AAC 192kpbs using SUPER @ 5000 kbps.

Note that the soundtrack is (evidently) overlaid and manually synced on the footage from my personal CD collection (source was lossless .flac file). If you wish to get this experience with the soundtrack in real time from your hotel room, only the Bellagio Lakeview rooms retransmit the sound straight to your stereo.

Note: In this video I left the beginning and end of the original sound capture and increased their volume by 3.22db - this way you can hear the bells announcing the start of the show and the explosions of the 5 main water canons at the end (as well as my wife's comments, hehe). Enjoy.

Wow, this is really cool. Try to imagine having to set up all the waterproof equipment and programming.

    Good stuff!
