1. Creating the Red Knight from Castle Crashers
2 years ago
So I work for a small company called The Behemoth in San Diego, CA. They're making a game called Castle Crashers with these little knights who go around destroying things and trying to save the princesses. Anyways, the game is all in 2D, and I figured I'd put my 3D skills to the test by modeling one of the knights in Maya. This video has been sped up 1000%, taking 2.5 hours of work down to just under 13 minutes. Hope you enjoy it and get a little insight into the creative process. By the way, this has nothing to do with the game. Dan makes all the drawings for the game, I just got bored one night :).

P.S. Check out thebehemoth.com/store to buy one of the figurines if you want. No, they didn't pay me to say that!

nice. pretty good for 2.5 hours of work. Your booleans worked really well. I'm always afraid of clean up after using them.
