That was cool how you changed the intensity of the light and how it made the flower dance.
I think Jakob's point is interesting - most of the time when you see time lapse, it's all from one angle (we all have seen these type shots for science class in grade school). Composing it from multiple angles gives the subject character and makes it more like a "film", more like a character study rather than a science experiment.
I love how it wags. It's so easy to anthropomorphize it, to see it (as I do) weaving and bobbing in a religious trance.
This was shot at one frame every 40 seconds. I sped it up a bit in iMovie and encoded the clip at 29.97 fps. The shooting time at this point is about 3 weeks!
Its great. I love the red color on the background, the music is perfect for it...and the drama of the plant, you can almost tell that she is in labor right before spreading the leaves. I marked it as a favorite. Nice work.
