
Apple II vs. Macintosh -- Disruptive Funding

Guy Kawasaki describes the period of Apple's history when the Apple II division made all the money and the Macintosh division -- still in development -- spent all the money. This created natural tension between the two divisions, but the funding of the Mac unit on Apple II cash was critical to establishing the Mac platform, which still exists today (on it's third major generation of microprocessors) more than 20 years later.
