Nice, thanks for posting! Pompeii looks larger and a lot dryer than I thought it was.
Video has a nice pace. I would reduce the contrast a little, and if possible use a tripod and pan a bit slower.

I could not agree more. However, my wife and I had gotten off a cruise ship for this little side trip and I had no tripod. I posted this for family. But thanks for taking a peek. I would love to go back and make a better film. What a interesting piece of history. :o)

Pink Floyd recorded and made a movie there in Pompeii. I guess they must have had the place reserved for them. I'd like to visit there someday. Thanks for sharing your video.

The video comes out a bit shaky, I think because of a to high bitrate: try at max 4000 kbps.

Yes, I think about one third of the volcano blew up at that time. Must have been quite a blast.
