This demo shows off the OpenCV Patch from kineme.net. It tracks where the user clicks, and draws lines connecting the points.

It also makes use of a few other custom patches for simplicity.

After the background is blanked, rapid motion causes it to slowly lose tracking, causing the jumbled mess of lines. Better lighting addresses this, but I left it in for artistic effect.

oh wow. that's amazing. OpenCV is coming in Snow Leopard, am I right? Or is it already out there?

You're thinking of OpenCL. OpenCV is a computer vision library maintained by Intel that's been around for quite some time

It's not in snow leopard -- we wrote the opencv patch. It's still in beta, but it's freely available if you sign up for an account on kineme.net/ -- be sure to enable the beta tester check box! :)
